Key lime cake bites are excellent for entertaining. They are one of those easy and fast desserts to make pleasant crowds. Tart and sweet, creamy but crispy, a fast key lime filling is baked inside schem shells. Mix it, collect in prefabricated phyllo cake shells, bake, and you will have finished! Adoration is optional, however, it is always recommended!
How to make the best key lime cake bites:
- Preheats its oven at 350 degrees. Place the Phyllo shells bought on a baking and baking tray for 5 minutes or until they are slightly golden.
- In a medium bowl, combine sweetened milk, sour cream, lime juice and 1 tablespoon lime zest, then mix until it is soft and creamy.
- Place approximately 2 teaspoons of filling in each phyllo shell, then bake for 5-7 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
- Transfer the key lime bites to the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or until it is ready to decorate.
- To decorate, add a tablespoon of cold whip on each cup of lime key, then sprinkle with the crumbs of Graham cookies and the remaining lime zest.

These little snacks have the same taste of sweet territory of a classic lime cake, but can be eaten in approximately one or two snacks. They are an excellent strike dessert, especially for warm weather meetings when you want to finish your food with something refreshing. And since they are made with just a few ingredients, they can be whipped at any time!
Lima’s mini bites are so perfect. First, they are Mini and anything in mini is automatically adorable and impressive. And second, they are super delicious and fresh with the perfect amount of spikes of the lime juice and fresh lime zest.
These would be perfect for summer parties if you want to have varied desserts for your guests and don’t want to worry about baking a lot! The fact that they are Mini also means that you can eat as 10. Nothing. 😉

My best tips:
- PHYLLO Conchas: The frozen Phyllo shells of Athens are the best for this recipe! They do not require defrosting, they are perfectly the size of a bite, and very light and chaos, all at the same time! Find yours easily in the freezer section with the traditional phyllo mass and swollen mass, usually near the frozen cakes and cakes.
- Lime Zest: Try to remember lighting their files before squeezing all their juice. This makes the grat much easier since the files are still firm and one piece. Remember to reserve some enthusiasm to worship later too!
- STUFFED: Using a small tablespoon of cookies activated, or transferring the key lime filling to a pipe bag or a ziploc bag helps control how much filling is adding to the Phyllo shells and, in turn, keeps them pleasant and orderly.
- CREEPY: You will want to make sure that these key lime cake bites are completely cooled before decorating and enjoying! In fact, feel free to do them the day before, cool them during the night and worship them to serve the next day.
- Cool Whip: Although I love the convenience of overcoming them with a defrosted fresh whip, if you want to cover these bites with homemade whipped cream, don’t let me stop! Just make sure the snacks are completely cold before decorating.
- Storage: Transfer any left over to a hermetic container and guide it in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Better enjoyed in 2 days to ensure that Phyllo glasses maintain their crispy texture.
