Authors & Scientific Editorial Board
At Russella, scientific integrity, anatomical accuracy, and strict ethical accountability guide every article, tool feature, and anthropometric explanation we publish. Every article, tool feature, and anthropometric explanation we publish is researched by our editorial team and held to strict ethical accountability.
Editorial Leadership & Core Contributors
Russella’s articles, guides, and tool explanations are researched and written by our in-house editorial team, led by founder Daniel Harper. Every piece follows the three-tiered review workflow described below, and all clinical and diagnostic boundaries are governed by our Disclaimer.
Our Three-Tiered Editorial & Review Workflow
Every piece of technical, anatomical, or scientific content published on Russella undergoes our standardized verification pipeline as defined in our official Editorial Policy:
- Primary Literature Sourcing: Authors must cite peer-reviewed academic literature (e.g., Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis, Journal of Craniofacial Surgery). Secondary blog summaries are strictly prohibited as primary sources.
- Double-Blind Expert Fact-Check: A credentialed subject matter expert independently tests the formulas, anatomical terminology, and demographic caveats prior to pre-publication signoff.
- Continuous Post-Publication Auditing: When camera sensor technologies, WebGPU browser standards, or anthropological datasets evolve, our board conducts scheduled quarterly reviews to update guidance.
Conflict of Interest & Independence Policy
To guarantee complete objectivity, our authors and reviewers maintain strict independence from cosmetic surgery clinics, commercial skincare conglomerates, and proprietary hardware manufacturers. We do not accept sponsored product placements or paid diagnostic endorsements. Any potential financial or advisory conflicts are formally disclosed on relevant articles.
“Our allegiance is exclusively to scientific accuracy, user privacy, and responsible education. We report objective geometry—not marketing trends.”
